Abstract

This paper delves into the intersection of psychology and literary analysis, exploring how psychological approaches can enrich our understanding of literature and criticism. By examining the psychological underpinnings of characters, narrative structures, and thematic content, we can gain deeper insights into the motivations, behaviors, and emotional landscapes that shape literary works. Drawing from theories such as psychoanalysis, cognitive psychology, and social psychology, this study investigates the ways in which psychological perspectives can offer new interpretations and critical frameworks. Through a detailed analysis of selected literary texts, this paper demonstrates the effectiveness of psychological approaches in illuminating the complexities of literature and fostering a more profound connection between readers and the written word.
