Abstract
Literary Adaptations and Cultural Translation is a comprehensive exploration of the intricate relationship between literature and its various adaptations across different cultural contexts. This paper delves into the multifaceted process of translating written works into different mediums, such as film, television, and theater, while examining the challenges and opportunities that arise in the process of cultural translation. It analyzes how literary adaptations can bridge cultural gaps, introduce new audiences to foreign texts, and contribute to the global exchange of ideas. The study further investigates the preservation of original texts' essence and the adaptation of narrative elements to suit different cultural sensibilities. By examining case studies from various genres and historical periods, this paper underscores the significance of cultural translation in promoting mutual understanding and fostering a sense of global community.
