Abstract

The title "Legal Theory and Human Rights in a Globalized World" reflects the multifaceted nature of the relationship between legal theories and human rights within the context of globalization. This paper explores the evolving landscape of human rights discourse amidst the integration of economies, cultures, and societies across the globe. It examines how traditional legal theories have been adapted and challenged by the globalized environment, particularly in terms of their applicability to diverse cultural and legal systems. The abstract delves into key aspects such as the impact of international law on domestic jurisdiction, the role of supranational bodies in protecting human rights, and the challenges faced by states in harmonizing their legal frameworks with international standards. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the intersection of economic globalization and human rights, considering both opportunities for empowerment and the risks of exacerbating inequalities. Ultimately, the abstract concludes with the necessity for a nuanced understanding of legal theories in the contemporary era to promote sustainable human rights advancement in an interconnected world.
